  • 1 box of Devil’s Food cake mix
  • 16 oz. of whipped cream (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 can of sweetened condensed milk
  • 22 oz. of caramel syrup
  • 8 oz. of Heath English Toffee Bits
  • 1 King-Sized Heath bar (for crushing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven according to the instructions on the Devil’s Food cake mix box. Prepare the cake batter as directed and pour into a greased 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. Bake until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean; let cool completely.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whip your cream until soft peaks form if using heavy cream.
  4. Crumble half of the cooled cake into a trifle dish or large glass serving dish.
  5. Drizzle half of the sweetened condensed milk over the crumbled cake and spread with half of the whipped cream.
  6. Repeat with remaining crumbled cake, condensed milk, whipped cream, and drizzle with caramel syrup.
  7. Top with Heath English Toffee Bits and crush a Heath bar for garnish.
  8. Cover and chill for at least two hours before serving.
