  • 1/4 cup pumpkin pie puree
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup milk (any type)
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted (for topping)
  • 1 cup sugar (for topping)
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons cinnamon (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a muffin tin or donut pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, brown sugar, salt, baking powder, and pumpkin spice.
  3. In another bowl, mix pumpkin pie puree, melted butter, and milk until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and stir gently until just combined.
  5. Fill each cavity of your pan three-fourths full with batter.
  6. Bake for about 12 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Allow to cool slightly on a rack before brushing with melted butter and tossing in cinnamon sugar.
